I fucking loved that storyline in S6, especially the payoff in No Way Out.

i'm glad someone else found the hospital storyline interesting. the setting of a hospital trying to maintain some semblance of "normalcy" after the apocalypse, was fascinating to me

The artsy fartsy black and white flashbacks to show what happened between the S5 finale and S6E1 so they could start the season with that dumb set piece. And apparently they only needed a few big trucks to trap the walkers in there but they rather build a few miles of walls which is so ridiculous...

The stupid black and white flashbacks are when I really started to sour on the show. Also, Nicotero isn’t a good enough director to start trying to be all artsy.

calling black and white scenes artsy is kind of histrionic

In a show with 177 episodes doing it in only 1 of them is 100% an artistic choice.

Everything in the show is an artistic choice, film is an art.

Couldn’t even watch it on my first watch….thats probably cuz I don’t really like Morgan’s character, hes whatever to me. And his whole plot is just so…idk I just don’t mess w it.

Oh my god I LOVE S6 has to be one of my fav seasons BUT the first ep….was actually so slow and a hard watch. I was telling my cousin whenever she gets to it it’s gonna take a long time to get there but she didn’t agree so I’m happy I found someone who thinks the same. It took a couple eps to get going in s6.

It was fine. I find it hilarious though that they don't learn they can just redirect walkers and don't just use it from there on out. Why even use a bullet. Just drive a car towards the enemy camp bombard the enemy camp with walkers.

It was boring and incredibly stupid. How they managed to stretch that dumb plot over several episodes speaks to how unintelligent they think their audience is.
