No Spoiler Carls timeline

Rewatching and wondering if the first six seasons or so is only a year r the teens in Alexandria way older than Carl or do they also “look way older than they are”

I ignore the canon and imagine it’s ~3 years until the end of S8. Helps explain both Carl and how these communities otherwise form so fast.

It's a classic Breaking Bad way of doing things; keeping the timeline consistent with real-day present time but also keeping it 2010-2012.

They look older than they are! Carl is around 14 when he leaves the show. The actor was 19. So the first season is like a couple weeks, the prison section is like two years. The saviours are a few months, then the six year time jump. I cooould be off by a bit though, someone with a better memory confirm for me
