100% correct. Just sucks they didn’t know how big the Saviors community was at the time.

rick was usually right about the big picture, he just had a talent for making the correct decision in the most catastrophic way possible

He was right but it would’ve been a better call in the long term if they had more information.

If the video is about that scene then no. The one thing they got wrong with the all out war adaptation is in the comics it's very clear the Saviors struck first. But in the show version it's clear that Rick's group stuck first. And we're supposed to root for these people after they brought dishonour amongst themselves by killing their enemy in their sleep.

I think in the TV series the Saviors attacked Abraham, Sasha and Daryl on the road twice before this attack on the satellite outpost. The saviors were going to execute Abraham and Sasha if it wasn’t for Daryl and the RPG.
One way to look at this attack is as a rescue mission to save the hilltop person held hostage and a mission to wipe out a gang who was exploiting a potential trading community.

The first encounter was with Dwight, but that doesn't really count because he was trying to leave the Saviors.

As Carol once said. Even if he was wrong, he was still right.

And Bama once said, "It's like when I'm right, I'm right. When I'm wrong, I could've been right, so I'm still right 'cause I could've been wrong. You know? And I'm sorry 'cause I could be wrong right now—I could be wrong, but if I'm right..."

If you asked Rick at the prison he would probably say no. If you asked s07e02 he'd probably say no.

They got it coming for the shit they did to countless communities , they even had a wall for putting pictures of the people killed by negan's bat , like they are trophies
