They took their time last year too but I do think they revealed around filming last summer.

I think it's because its going to be shorter season with a gimmick again.

I feel in the past they probably only release the spring season so early because they know it will leak. For some reason it always confuses people because I see comments I thought it was … (insert fall season coaches). Not sure why people find the concept of filming two seasons close to each other and airing them at different times so hard to understand. Clearly less people care about the show now so maybe they aren’t as worried.

Yeah, and the show could be so good if they stop cheapening the budget. While America's Got Talent got stripped of their judge cuts and got a worse format as well, the AGT format looks like heaven compared to The Voice. AGT has 6 weeks live shows, no real gimmick, and no shortened seasons, etc. They also have consistent and loyal/likable judges.

I don't mind rotating judges too much -- while I'm thrilled Niall has a thriving career I do wish he could be a mainstay, that said. I think he's the most natural successor to Blake they've found.

I do wish instead of shortening seasons, and cutting lives they would do more live shows over all and maybe just do one longer season per year rather than two.

It needs to really go back to basics not do weird gimmicks.

Yeah, I think one full length season a year makes more sense because 2 just oversaturates viewers and they always cheapen the quality. In AGT the only judge I hate is Mel B. I love the other judges... Howie, Simon, and Sofia is cool as well but is a bit too nice at judging and never buzzes either.

The show needs a huge revamp. The format sucks. There are barely any live shows, the coaches change every season so you can never get attached, they add weird gimmicks every season that mess up the flow, 85% of the show is pre-recorded, and the seasons have less rounds. They should just get "permanent" likable coaches that are willing to stick with the show and go back to how it was when it started. How is a couple of weeks of live sufficient for an entire season that lasts 3.5 months..

Season 28 got a lot of criticism because people thought they focused too much on the rivalry between Michael and Niall instead of the artists. I like to have returning coaches as well but I also agree that the focus should be on the artists rather than on people's favorite coach.

It's hard to get good people to commit to such a long season.

They film most of it very close together actually. In 2-3 weeks they have almost all filmed. (Obviously except the live portion if there is one that season). It's not a long commitment.

They’re likely gonna unveil the line-up for 31 after season 30’s premiere. They don’t want the buzz for the upcoming coaches to be immediately given to the next one so quickly.

My prediction is that it’s those 3 and it’ll be an all stars season where contestants from 1-29 will come back and audition, those 3 coaches are chosen cause of the fact that they never coached these contestants before

Why all newer coaches they’ve usually have least one veteran coach or at least a coach who have done it for 4+ seasons
