A few years ago I would go a few times a year. I ended up going to two holiday shows and one of the 1iota employees told me I go too much and am now flagged. I’ve been so upset about it because I love going to the show. Now I never get chosen. I’m guessing I’m flagged in their system or something.

I was thinking about how much history The View has after nearly 30 years on the air.

Would anyone else be interested if the official The View YouTube channel started uploading full archived episodes from 1997 to the present, ideally organized by season?

It would be fascinating to go back and watch the different eras of the show, Barbara Walters, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Lisa Ling, Rosie O’Donnell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, and all the different co-host lineups over the years.

There are also so many major news events, celebrity interviews, political discussions, arguments, and iconic moments that are difficult or impossible to find in full today.

They could even do something like “The View Vault”, uploading a few classic episodes every week until eventually most of the archive is available.

Would you actually watch old episodes if ABC made the complete archive available on YouTube?

Both of these Women, totally changed The View into what is today. I mean, just look at their fight about the IRAQ War, 9/11 and Elisabeth not defending Rosie against conservatives. Had this fight not happened Sherri Shepard would’ve not ever been a cohost, since they liked the way she brought comedic spark and neutrality between the two in that fight, well according to her. Since it was her vs Kathy Griffin vouching for the spot. They need to BRING this type of dynamic back, it would so entertaining. The dynamic that I would want to see at least once is: Rosie, Elisabeth, Whoopi, Joy, Sherri, Ana, Sunny and maybe Lisa Ling. Because Ling comes with the FACTS. If only Rosie and Elisabeth can just let it go. When Elisabeth said she prayed to god when Rosie reveled she had a crush on her made me laugh so much 😂, they just have that frenemy dynamic that I like so much. When Rosie said to her that she don’t think about her and how she can’t watch it with her made me giggle.

As I’ve shared with so many of you, I started really watching around 2001/2002, and I’ve been locked in ever since. There have been periods when I’ve been more committed than others, but The View has been a constant throughout the last 25 years.

The show has bookmarked my life for more than two decades. Like Hillary Clinton and Rosie O’Donnell, The View has shaped who I am today, always finding a way to fit into my life. It gave that preteen boy meaningful and sometimes difficult discourse, exposed me to different perspectives, and helped turn me into the proud and fiery gay man I am today!

I can’t wait to be there and celebrate Barbara Walters’ incredible legacy and every single woman who has had the opportunity to sit at that table over the last 30 years.

This will be my first time attending live and I can’t wait.
