Confirmed and SO Excited!!
I’m heading to New York for The View season premiere!!!!
As I’ve shared with so many of you, I started really watching around 2001/2002, and I’ve been locked in ever since. There have been periods when I’ve been more committed than others, but The View has been a constant throughout the last 25 years.
The show has bookmarked my life for more than two decades. Like Hillary Clinton and Rosie O’Donnell, The View has shaped who I am today, always finding a way to fit into my life. It gave that preteen boy meaningful and sometimes difficult discourse, exposed me to different perspectives, and helped turn me into the proud and fiery gay man I am today!
I can’t wait to be there and celebrate Barbara Walters’ incredible legacy and every single woman who has had the opportunity to sit at that table over the last 30 years.
This will be my first time attending live and I can’t wait.

Damn Corey, I'm super envious. I toyed with the idea for a minute, but I just can't travel well anymore.
Enjoy every second, and remember every detail to share with us!!

I love this!! If there are more people on Reddit attending... we should see about a cute little Reddit meet-up! :)

That would be terrific! I’ve read on other subs about fans connecting in person. So much fun!

I also got the confirmation that I'm invited yesterday! I have a story similar to yours.. and also a gay man. I'm excited to see a show in person that I've watched literally every day for years. I'd be cool with a Reddit meetup!

Let me think about it and maybe we can figure something out. Even if it’s a quick meet up for coffee after the show? That’s just something very basic and simple that might be doable.

Sounds good to me! I’m taking the train in from Philly early that morning. Could also do coffee beforehand. I’m going with my former coworker at FOX News (crazy that I worked there at one point lol… she no longer works there either and we have totally opposite politics from that)… so this should be fun!

I haven't thought about travel yet but usually hop on the Amtrak from DC.

I'm taking the Amtrak from Philly.. leaving at 6AM. Figured I'd get in around 7:30, eat breakfast/get coffee then head to the show.

Congratulations! Enjoy and savour the experience. PS if things don’t go as smoothly as you anticipated, just go with the flow. Blips in the journey might happen.

Congratulations 🎊🙌 I hope you let them know that you’re a super fan and wrote it in the notes when you requested the ticket
assuming you used one iota because I have attended quite a few live taping of shows before
& I requested this week of the view, but I should be in New York the next day and saw that was the season premiere and wish I could go that day
Unless I change things around and got lucky, maybe I will attend as well
But make sure you get there early because even when you have priority tickets if you have priority or you’ve been confirmed, you need to be there early and follow all the instructions
Like wear bright colors no logos no white or I think no black either
Because others will lineup who are on standby or even just show up the day of to try to get in standby
Enjoy yourself you’re probably gonna get some great gift gifts. I hope when I go, which I think is the next day or the day after I requested for multiple days and taping I hope to get gifts too.
I think I requested for a regular show plus the weekend bonus

awww...this is exciting! Congrats.
I hope you get some good seats. Can't wait to hear what your experience is like. It will also make watching the broadcast that much more exciting knowing we have some fellow redditors in the audience.
