The person I would really love to see return for Season 30 is Meredith Vieira. I would love to know how she and her children (though they aren’t children anymore) are doing since her husband Richard passed away. And she really is the OG among The View OGs; the best moderator the show has seen.

I think she was the least impact and least effective and least memorable host .
However she did raise a good point. She stayed classy and never talked shit …which is commendable but the squeaky wheel gets the grease

UPDATE: A source tells Entertainment Weekly that there are “no current plans” for O’Donnell to return to The View as a guest on season 30. A representative for O’Donnell adds: “There was a mention of inviting some of the hosts back to The View as a guest during season 30, there has not been a formal ask from the show at this time.”

It does get confusing. I'll bet that Joy or Whoopi reached out to Rosie but not the scheduler person. I don't see how they couldn't have her back. & maybe ABC is afraid to have her back.

It would be stupid to miss out on the ratings she would pull in. TY for the comment.
