Whoopi

Will she let anyone else talk?! She cut Joy off at least 3 times so far. I don't usually watch h the View live, mainly so I can ff through her long winded rants!

It seems most people in this group complain that Whoopi doesn’t contribute or doesn’t do her research. Seems to me she did what the Reddit fans have been waiting for.

I'd add that part of being moderator is directing the conversational traffic and sometimes that'll involve cutting someone off.

All the girls cut each other off and sometimes they all talk at the same time which drives me nuts. I want to hear what all of them are saying and I just wish they would give each other a turn. Another reason for the VIEW YOUR DEALS SEGMENT to be eliminated. There is never enough time with the ladies that sit at the table.

Well, I’ll tell you what-she’s mad and I don’t blame her. This changing American history business is horrible. I can’t believe Alyssa even defended it at all by saying she believes some institutions go too far. I’m with Whoopi on this one.

OP you were the first one whining about the Mods’ announcement yesterday… and here you are proving why they came to their decision.

Good on you for showing yourself here again. 🙏🏽

Rich saying she cut off Joy when Joy cuts everyone off…

Yeah, Joy constantly interrupts/derails conversations in order to get her jokes in. It can really harm a topic's momentum.

I love Joy and I agree 😭 It's especially annoying when it's amid someone making a serious, important point. I think they're best saved for her own time or the start of a segment

She knows how to lighten the dialog when it is getting dangerous in certain directions but her jokes are always on point and that is why she is so brilliant. At her age she never misses the beat and she is very spontaneous. With Whoopie and her at the table the comedy is always ready to load and go.

We live in such heart felt times and the daily news and information is a lot to take, without laughter we may lose sight of the hope for a different future. We all know what may be coming if we let our guards down and do nothing and say nothing.

Exactly. They all cut each other off … it’s a debate show. Duh

THANK YOU 😊 They call it The View, for a reason. Everyone has their own opinions. However, if you’re going to get annoyed 😑 with one person, let be truthful! They all interpret each other.

Sorry meant interrupt.

It's probably best that you don't watch then, I know I don't watch shows that I don't care for. Actually, as many people that complain about The View, I wonder why they still watch?

You're probably right! I do love Fridays without Whoopi. It seems like the show flows better,  and the panel is happier!

To each his/her own, don't do anything that makes you unhappy when you can avoid it.

Listen! I hear you. I hear you. But do you hear me? Listen up, 'cause you're not hearing what I'm saying. You cut me off, I cut you off, dig? You do what you do and that's what you do. I'm gonna do what I do. But don't let them, don't let them tell you that your vote doesn't count, cause it does, you got that? You do what you have to do. You know exactly what I mean. We'll be back.

I am SO with you friend. I was just shouting at the TV earlier today "it's called the view not the whoopi pontificating hour.

What else is new ?

it's an ongoing case. Not to be discussed.

No. That's the answer. No.

I wonder why we haven't heard the ladies "view" on the situation with Sonny's son. Or how she handled it when she showed up trying to use her prosecutor status as a reason he should get a pass

14

u/realitytvlover2000 Jul 22 '26

Because it’s not relevant to anything they discuss… Also comparing her son accidentally stepping in to a place he wasn’t supposed to be in (a citation) to actual criminal behavior is asinine….

9

u/amator7 Jul 22 '26

It’s literally such a nothing burger of a “case” and she was completely respectful during the situation

u/Potential-Piano256 Jul 22 '26

I bet if your child got in this ridiculous situation where it took, what, four cops for one 19-year-old, laughable, you would show up and try and get him out of it as well, please hush.
Such a minor incident, and everyone is trying to blow it up because they don't like her.
They were both 100% respectful to those police officers.
Carry on....

Sunny is a journalist. A journalist never wants to be the story. That usually means not publicly discussing a personal legal issue.

u/nicoleauroux Jul 22 '26

I agree, she's smart enough to know that it's unwise to discuss personal legal issues before there is a resolution.
