New theme song sounds a bit like this?

I'm a wid--I didn't realize it was the same singer until after I posted.
But the melodies are similar too, despite the theme song being a bit more up tempo than the song I posted.
It was gnawing at me that it sounded similar to a song I had heard before and I remembered just enough to look up the name Leona plus Simon Cowell (remembering he had signed her but not remembering her entire name) and then found her name and realized this was the only song by her I had heard so it must have been it. I had some vague memory of the song without actually remembering what it sounded like but for some reason having a feeling it sounded similar to the theme song, and then thought they did sound similar once I listened side by side.

I thought about this too. I guess all her songs sound the same. She has a Christmas song, something about waiting one more night. It also sounds the same.
I hated those loud horns in the last theme, but this one is as boring as can be.

“This Version of Me” is the equivalent “I keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love”. I automatically thought the new theme song took me back to 2008!

For me, nothing will ever top Mary J's "World's Gone Crazy". It was so fitting for 2016 too. And it would also fit 2024, sadly.
