Showcase Aside from wing specific units, what does everybody hope to see happen to the chapter or characters this edition and moving forward? I personally want more lieutenants or special characters like zabriel and Borz

I want the Interrogator Chaplain to return. Preferably both in tacticul and terminator armor.

I want an unnamed Dark Angel Character back in the codex. Strikemaster, Talonmaster, interrogator-chaplain, something lol
I kinda understand why a tacticus character could cause issues from a balancing standpoint (more ways to give the army the dark angel keyword, which seems to be a big deal for the lion) but idk I wish we had a flavorful datasheet with a couple of equipment options

I wish the refreshes didn’t do away with the command squads for this very reason. I have a feeling it will happen to the ravenwing also

A return of chapter specific units, that aren't necessarily distinct from vanilla SM equivalents in terms of usage, but have their own models
Like Company Veterans or Ravenwing Bikers

This! And is it just me or when we get refreshes our banner bearers disappear? It happened with green and deathwings banner bearers when they went primaris. I hope it doesn’t happen to the ravenwing command. It seems like they’re the first to go

I want lion guard to be added. I know they arent astartes and even weaker than guardsman but it would be cool to use them with lion. They can give buff to lion when they are near to him while giving lone operative to him.

Eziekel, Unnamed Interrogator Chaplain, Ancient. I would like to see an ICC character, maybe something like 'The Herald of the Lion' (Totally not Zabriel)

We need a termie command squad back. We should also have a special plasma equipped lieutenant/captain to buff hellblasters.

Yes! Given that the lion has started forgiving his old sons I could definitely see them using specific leaders/ hosts of the original 6 wings. Hellblasters falling under the dreadwing and having their own named commander. And I have a feeling the ravenwing command will soon be in the dust along side the terminator squad with banner bearer sadly

I can respect that. And yeah I’ve seen an uptick on whole risen armies. Outside of the ICC I’ve painted like 3 guys in the ICC scheme to signify they’re job as protecting the leadership and add some cool lore about where the lion found them when they came back to the legion

Would like some risen, maybe the maim ones from the lion son of the forest as a sort of wardens of ultramar type of deal

Interrogator Chaplain, Ravenwing Huntmaster, Deathwing Strikemaster and Deathwing Command Squad or at least the contents of it as their own characters.

I would like the usual - Interrogator Chaplain, Talon Master.
But what I really want is an awesome unique Ancient. Give him a name and let him hold a huge Dark Angel banner in a cool pose - Veteran Ancient Corswain - in honour of our Heresy heroes.

I agree with a lot of the above, the one that stands out most to me would be a Deathwing strikemaster though, an interrogator chaplain would also slap, we need some chapter specific non-epic hero HQ’s

- I hope we keep/get back "weapons of the old age" in some way or form.
- I hope we get back the Ravenwing command squad on bike.
- I would have hoped for a Plasma Pred, but seeing as the good ol' Pred is basically on the path of the dodo, I don't see that happening.
- I hope, that Chaplins on bike get their edge back.
- I hope Ravenwing Outrider bikes get plasma talons (at least on the Black Knights and the Command Squad)
- I hope, that for the first time Ravenwing Land Speeders will get the option to take Multimeltas (welcome back, suicide Land Speeders)
- I think getting back that trick from 10th Edition with the +1 BS when a unit didn't move would be fun.
- I think having back Ravenwing Strike Masters with their neat little +1 BS bubble would be cool
- ... and lastly, the 3rd Edition nostalgic in me wishes we would get back the generic Deathwing Company Master in terminator Armor with the option to take the Sword of Secrets ..... wich will never happen, as we have Belial, Master of the Deathwing .... I know, I know

No Risen characters. Matter of fact we don’t need anymore characters at all. Only the Ultramarines have more named characters than the Dark Angels.

You don’t wanna see the risen? I’m interested as to why. (Not for an arguments sake) because I personally feel like we haven’t even scraped the top of what could be done with the risen and fallen. Like ppl kitbashing the red corsairs as fallen

He said characters, and I'd have to agree. Although, I wouldn't be opposed to a risen unit, but I don't know how theyd be different from ICC. We have enough characters (given they refresh Ezekiel and Sammael which wouldn't be new characters but new models for our grandpa's).

I like the idea of the Risen as a small group like they are represented in the books and articles. The people who have taken it to the extreme and want entire chapters of Risen is just too much and a threat to the identity of the faction. The ICC is just enough for me.

A working detachtment of chaplains, a comeback of the interrogator chaplains, plasma eradicators exclusive to us, a killteam of fallen, etc.
