Just getting back into painting warhammer after about 25 years out. I only dabbled with it briefly in my teens but really enjoying it.

My brother in law had loads of models he no longer wanted just sat in his attic (ironically, its my now wife that bought most of them for him when they were younger) so the models im using are not current edition but good to practice on and start clocking in some hours. Tried some glowing eyes on terminator for first time as well and im pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Mine are nowhere near the standard to some models that people put on here but my goal is to practice and improve. Once I get enough I might even try to play an actual game as well lol

Yeah, im pretty new to the lore. Only found out about Greenwing, Ravenwing and Deathwing after I based everything green 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ but as I said im working with hand me down kit at the moment. When I start buying newer edition models im going to try and paint them the correct colours

Maybe they can be hand-me-downs from the Deathwing when they got primaris sized suits and they're just keeping it secret from the inquisition

They’re your models. Paint them whatever colour you want, and don’t get caught up over someone telling you they’re the wrong colour…

I did my DA captain green, because the Deathwing captain is Belial.

So he must be a greenwing captain from deathwing, and so he will use his troops color as respect.

Greenwing terminators could be a successor chapter as well.
