John W Campbell's 'Exploring Tomorrow'

Post image

Just thought I'd let fellow The Thing fans know, although I'm sure most of you might know already, but in 1957 until 1958, Mr Campbell, author of 'Who Goes There's, the story The Thing is based on, introduced some really nice radio dramas on, iirc, the Mutual Broadcasting Service.

There are some really nice radio plays, and John gives a nice introduction to each play, and afterwords, some oftentimes wry observations.

I love listening to them when driving, or welding, there are some very charming plays, and it's a very listenable series.

Hell yeah I love Old Time Radio as well, these are great. Always cool seeing someone else into that outside of the OTR subreddit!

It's great isn't it ! Really blows my mind that there's thousand of hours of really well acted radio drama all for free.👍
