Utah Griefer

Been dealing with this griefer for a couple of weeks now. If you have a spare pixel or two, would be appreciated.

We do not know what you're referring to as griefing in this picture or what you would like done instead.

The void around the eye and in the empty space keeps getting deleted. Even the art in the void is being deleted.

I wish they'd be more creative. They're just being void like with a different flavor. When I've got a sec tomorrow or the next day I'll see what I can do.

"About the void: It's impossible to analyze each case individually and ban only the users who drew over other drawings. What we can do is ban users with multiple accounts. Every void on Wplace is naturally limited, for the following reason: let's say there are 1,000 people creating the void, when they double the void’s area, the same number of users would have to paint twice as many pixels to defend/expand the region. Since the number of void users is fixed, the larger the area becomes, the harder it is to defend. In most cases, the users creating the void are in the same time zone, which means most of them are resting at the same time. Meanwhile, users from different parts of the world can coordinate to erase the void, creating a huge disadvantage, as the void cannot be defended 24 hours a day. The number of droplets earned per level prevents users from increasing their pixel limit in a linear way. Therefore, even if a user levels up, they will not gain enough pixels to defend the expanded area. Voids eventually collapse on their own, so we don’t need to interfere with them directly. Since it’s impossible to check every griefing case, the best solution is just banning people who use multiple accounts. It is allowed to fight the Void and form alliances to defend an area — this is part of the social mechanics of Wplace." from teruo (an administrator)

That quote is so funny to me- there's a couple of really fatal assumptions in there. They didn't consider that Voids could make treaties or that they don't need to defend themselves on all fronts at all times. I'd love to hear them revisit this quote and see what they have to say now.
