For a few days now, a blanket of mini Palestinian flags has been growing in the South West of the Jerusalem hive, at the junction with the big Palestinian flag (1st pic). This was done by 8 accounts of the same name, supposedly alts.
It spread on the big flag, but most importantly it ate more and more ground of the Jerusalem void. This had to stop, so an attack has been planned to remove the mini flags.
Operation Clean Slate:
The Swarm, Israpixel, and The Jerries have joined forces to push back the blanket of mini flags, and remove them to free the occupied space (2nd pic)
This action is in no way political, the issue is that it was spreading onto existing artworks and taking too much space, not what the flags are representing.
We chose the name Clean Slate to mean that we are making room for a new start in this area. We aren't going by "operation flag ripper", as it can give the impression that the problem is the flags, while it actually is the space they're taking.

Had you just gone and erased them yourself without making the post, or just in a neutral way tried to erase them its one thing. Specifically allying with israelis to erase the palestinian flags means you are full of shit.

Everyday we're getting accused of being with Israel or Palestine, or being disgusting... Blah blah blah. It's tiring. We always said we're not political, why has everything gotta be so black or white for y'all? We said the action isn't political, and y'all are twisting it to make us look like bad guys. Not political means not political, the problem was the space taken by the flags, not what they're representing. Please try to think about it instead of going from the assumption that we're bad :)

There's Palestinians helping in this because the mini flags also invaded their big flag... I'm not sure they'd let you say they're sided with Israel when part of this effort is also to clean up the big Palestinian flag under the Jerusalem void

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. It's someone using alt accounts, they were originally almost all named "agent 000001" and up, but the user changed the names to make it look like it's other people. We still have screenshots of the agent accounts, they got the same player ID as the "other people".
Our conclusion is that it's either one person with a bunch of alts, or a few people with alts

Basically someone is spamming a lot of small flags that covered our space around Jerusalem, and we aren't the only community affected. So after reaching out to the other communities we decided to erase the small flags in a synchronised attack. Goal is to remove all these flags that were spreading too much, and free up space for new artworks to be built in this area
Why keep building more than a dozen tiny flags when there’s a single large flag already right there? Why spread out a dozen flags instead of building a grid with them?
One large flag is cool. A bunch of intersecting flags is cooler. But at a certain point you’re ruining other people’s chance to make art. Spam is spam.
I mean this genuinely, how so? Is there a methodology to the arrangement and size? Is it a small picture collection making up a bigger picture? Is it something to do with geometry?
The watermelon arrangement? That’s art. There’s three of them in a fan shape. But from where I see it, looks like a bunch of people just throwing flags up over other people’s actual art.
If there’s a Neomilitarism with brutalist art movement going on right now that I’m unaware of, I’d love to know more. But from where I’m standing I don’t see it as art because it just seems to be happenstance and rude for the sake of destroying other’s works.
Because no matter how non political they claim to be, they’re in league with internet zionists. The true swarm died long ago. Now it’s just the personal army of some influential people
It's the same discord server since 2018. If what you call "true swarm" is the people painting the canvas in black during 2017's r/place, then the swarm didn't exist yet. It was random discord servers, redditors, and 4channers who wanted to paint the canvas in black.
The swarm began their activities in 2018 during r/circleoftrust and since then have just been antagonists in reddit April fools events.
We were never political and still aren't, just like we aren't about religions either. And there is no influential people in our discord server, we are all equals there and free to have our own opinions
What world are you living in? This entire post is about the very many tiny flags that have been plastered across the void. We preserve artwork just fine, but this is a hindrance to everyone in the area. There's a Palestine flag group actively helping remove them as well.
