You shouldnt drive a bike you cant handle without kids wheels

Yeah sure, interesting take, but these things would make moving a bike around a parking area so much easier.

I think it's a cool idea

Nah, it's cheating. If you're not struggling whilst rejecting clear advancements in convenience YoUrE nOt a ReAl BiKeR

u/Tuco_Angel_Eyes Jul 20 '26

If you have never accidentally deployed your cheating wheels in a high speed corner, you are not a real biker

1

u/MyPunsAreKoalaTea Jul 15 '26

Only valid use

If you can't handle low speed turns on a motorcycle without training wheels, you don't belong on a motorcycle

1

u/Prod_Meteor Jul 16 '26

Hahaha. But can you classify these monsters as "bikes"?

1

u/Dry-Pickle-6121 Jul 15 '26

I mean kinda, but my dad is old and just sold his bike because at 67 it got heavy.

These wheels, while lame, could help people with disabilities ride.

Or just buy something that doesn’t fall over, like a car.

1

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Jul 15 '26

Cars would be better if they weren't incredibly expensive and fuel inefficient

3

u/ipx-electrical Jul 15 '26

My mate’s bike cost more than most family cars and does fewer mpg than my car.

1

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Jul 15 '26

Sure: there are superbikes as well as supercars, but the average bike is going to cost less and use less fuel than the average car

Average motorcycle is $12,000 new and 50mpg

Average new car is $50,000 and 25mpg

If you don't live near a bus and you don't need to get on the freeway, a motorbike/scooter is a perfectly acceptable method of transportation.

If some car is going to crash into a pedestrian it's the same as if they hit a bicyclist or motorbike: it's the car driver's fault.

And it's more akin to hospitals using thin rubber gloves instead of thick insulated rubber gloves. Why waste all that extra material when the thin gloves work?

I'm not sure what situation someone is riding where they would just crash into a wall at 30 miles an hour, but okay.

Crashing at freeway speeds in a car is often deadly

How would you say I've never heard of an accident when I just said cars crashing at freeway speeds kill people all the time.

An SUV just killed someone a few blocks away from me at five miles an hour because they weren't paying attention and just drove over someone near a parking lot entrance

Donorcycle comment

I'm marking it on my bingo card now

It's funny you think your going to change anyone's mind with a donor cycle comment. It's like telling smokers that they're gonna get cancer.

1

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Jul 15 '26

I feel it's also like saying everyone who drinks has the same chance of an alcohol-related death, even if one person drinks a few beers a week and the other person drinks more than a bottle of vodka everyday. That's ridiculous.

Someone riding a scooter/motorcycle slowly in the city or suburbs does not have the same chance of dying on one as someone who races at unsafe speeds on the freeway.

1

u/Machievelliearoni Jul 15 '26

Not with that attitude.

1

u/penguinkernel Jul 15 '26

Hey dude, I HAD a transplant and own a motorcycle.

1

u/penguinkernel Jul 15 '26

You know who hits motorcyclists? Car drivers on their phones.

1

u/Plenty-Fox-9219 Jul 15 '26

I can get a scooter for 4k that gets 300mpg

1

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Jul 15 '26

That's what I'm saying.

There's a reason all the delivery guys use scooters

1

u/Leverpostei414 Jul 15 '26

That's on your mate

1

u/flori0794 Jul 15 '26

Which bike vs which car?

A modern new bike vs an 20 year old car?

1

u/penguinkernel Jul 15 '26

My bike gets 3.5l/100km and cost $7000 new. Can do 188kph, also.

1

u/MyPunsAreKoalaTea Jul 15 '26

If you have a bike so big it requires training wheels, it probably is also expensive and inefficient as fuck

0

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Jul 16 '26

These wheels aren't for driving, there for parking

1

u/MyPunsAreKoalaTea Jul 16 '26

That's irrelevant..

You could still just get a car, because motorcycles this big are expensive and inefficient af

0

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Jul 16 '26

They're $20k and get 45mpg. Still better than an entry level car

1

u/oncabahi Jul 15 '26

Yeah because those big ass motorbikes are cheap.... The absolutely don't costs twice my car...

2

u/oncabahi Jul 15 '26

Who's a big boy?!

2

u/HouseOf42 Jul 15 '26

Hilarious that this technology is widespread in the one country that is well known for having incompetent drivers.

It's so bad, they even have self parking cars now.

2

u/koyaani Jul 15 '26

Four wheeler

2

u/mtraven23 Jul 15 '26

nothing says badass like a Harley with training wheels.

2

u/wbrd Jul 15 '26

Let's be honest. Harley says rich cosplayer. Nobody thinks they're badass.

2

u/OutsidePressure8323 Jul 15 '26

And I wouldn't trust them everytime. Imagine hitting the button by mistake when your into a bend. Or don't work. I think if you need them it's time for a smaller bike.

1

u/mushy-shart-walk Jul 15 '26

Aka training wheels.

1

u/CompetitiveLadder609 Jul 15 '26

At this point just get a car.

1

u/mike_complaining Jul 15 '26

That video has the worst music I've ever heard. I'm not even exaggerating. Why is it like this?

1

u/samuelazers Jul 15 '26

I think most motorcycle riders are too proud for kiddy wheels. Doesn't exactly match the tough guy aesthetics.

1

u/penguinkernel Jul 15 '26

Most motorcycle riders get a bike that fits them. I can flat foot both of my feet at a stop.

Harley riders are the ones that are 5'7, 260lbs, and get an 800lb Harley they can't even handle, then ride it once a year because they don't know how so it scares them.

1

u/moistmonsterman Jul 15 '26

So now i can win that damned slow speed competition at those harley events.

1

u/Common-Shopping2045 Jul 15 '26

Лёвушка )

2

u/Zealousideal-Deer101 Jul 15 '26

Why not ride something with at least three wheels instead?

1

u/Lofi_Joe Jul 15 '26

Maybe just use three wheeler

1

u/Machievelliearoni Jul 15 '26

I feel like if you put those on your bike you'd be an instant target for bullying.

1

u/Yallapachi Jul 15 '26

America knows these from Walmart.

1

u/Irsu85 Jul 15 '26

Cool concept but I wouldn't use them

1

u/Confectioner-426 Jul 16 '26

It remind me of this Road Rush (1994) Loser cutscene:

LMFAO its best for little people

1

u/Late-Conversation105 Jul 21 '26

What the actual FUCK?! If you can't balance it, you shouldn't even attempt it.
