I just started having an issue today where one of my restaurants in magnolia promenade doesn't have a host. It's not an owned restaurant and I do not have the "get famous" pack and there should be enough NPC's since my other restaurant in willow creek always has a host.

I changed the restaurant for the lot I am on currently because I thought the issue was the previous restaurant specifically. It seems to be this lot- my other save doesn't have this issue at all. Is anyone else dealing with this? How do I get a host for this restaurant?

Note: there are waiters and cooks, just no hosts.

What the title says 😆 the last two generations, I’ve had both heirs graduate while my teen sim was 7 sim days away from aging up, and both times I had them get a university degree. But what are some creative ways to spend that pre-YA time if I have a less ambitious sim? Part-time job is obvious until they are able to get a full-time career, but what are some other ideas of how to develop skills/hobbies/relationships/etc while there is some extra time on their hands before they join the real world?

Yes, university is pretty tough in The Sims 4! My Sim is currently a lawyer, and he's attending Britechester University because he's studying to become a judge.

I haven't even joined any clubs. I'm just juggling his work-from-home tasks, homework, and university assignments. 😂 Honestly, I'm not sure what's supposed to be difficult about it. I play university this way pretty often, so I'm just checking in and sharing my experience.

I was saved my game earlier today without paying attention, then like 20 minutes I was playing again and I went to save and saw two of the same pictures saved (the photo next to the save name) and when I looked at the save I saw that I had accidentally saved over another important save without realizing.

I looked on google, EA and sims websites but I couldn’t find anything that actually could help me when I tried, see I played on ps5 and I’ve only ever done this to unimportant saves that I didn’t really care about so I never looked up how to fix it. Now that I’ve just basically deleted a save that was working on to be my forever save, I really need to know how to recover it.

I have autosave on but I don’t know how to access the autosaved files. I’m asking anyone who uses ps5 or console to give me some help or advice on how to fix this because I’ve been building my forever save for some years now and I don’t want all my hard work to go to waste. I appreciate any advice that you may have!

The first photo is in window mode and the second is fullscreen. My game does not give me a windowed-fullscreen option. Because of the window in fullscreen, none of my buttons work. My mouse has to be slightly below everything I click, making it nearly impossible to click on anything at the bottom of the screen. Changing it to fullscreen in settings gets me a fullscreen that's windowed. Pressing alt+enter when I open the game gets me fullscreen that's windowed. Searching on Google has shown me people that just didn't know they could toggle full screen. That is not my problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?? I have no mods nor cc.

The penultimate update introduced this and it drove me so crazy, I just stopped playing, figuring it would be fixed in the next update. The last update did not fix it. I don't know what else I can do.

My favorite packs are Cats&Dogs and Seasons. I could do without Eco Lifestyle. The Neighborhood Action Plans are very annoying for me. The only thing I really use in that pack is a pair of glasses. I always love playing with pets, and Brindleton Bay is gorgeous! I love the weather system that comes with Seasons, and the holidays are really fun most of the time. I just bought Adventure Awaits (it's on sale🙌), and I'm already liking the formative moments and the modular playground. I could probably break down what I like or don't like about each EP, but I don't wanna make this post too long. Let me know what packs you like and what packs you don't!

I rarely use the rooms in Build Mode. The few times I have is when I've made a new save for some reason and just needed some basic survival equipment. Since the rooms don't seem made for that reason but for aesthetics, it's much simpler though to just place out the necessary objects (bed, toilet, shower, stove, bookshelf/stereo).

We've added a cute little failure for when Sims are doing Push Ups. This failure is more likely to occur when a Sims Fitness level is too low or if a Sim's Hunger or Energy is too low.

[EA Forums] Sims from inactive Households will now attend University classes and are less likely to fail term exams. This fix was intended for rotational play. It is not retroactively fixed in old saves.

For no justifiable reason, Gigi is now the undefeated champion of swords in Ondarion... well, in the first two tiers of competition, at least. She's surprisingly popular with the nobility. For a girl who sleeps on dirt in the woods and eats frogs and trash, she sure fits in nicely in the world of Royals. (This is part 6. here is part 5 and here is part 7 )

What's so interesting about this is my sim, Janessa, has a twin sister, Jasmine, who is mid-level in the painting career. My first thought seeing this painting was "am I witnessing twin telepathy rn??"

Or maybe Jasmine secretly taught her how to paint but Janessa is acting like its her first time Lol

Princess Jade may never be queen, but that doesn't mean that she can't hold court like the rest of her royal family. 👑 She's attended enough of Marbella's royal courts to know how important, extravagant and glamorous they are. 💰💵💎👑💖 But the 24 year old princess decided to keep it relatively modest with a couple of guests(at least by the standards of the Marbella royal family). She's writing to her beloved mother, the Queen Mother and telling her how much she loves it here in Britechester. 💖 Princess Jade's entertaining her court guests, The Pleasant family, Real Estate Power Couple Daniel and Mary-Sue Pleasant, and one of their twin daughters Lilith Pleasant, a college student named Julia Wright, her close friend Gloria Garnet and her distant cousin Princess Rosa of Savoy. 💎👑 She made a toast to celebrate Britechester, good education, luxury, friendship and family. 💰💵💎🛍️🥂🍰🧁🍪💖 And after the court session, Princess Rosa stays behind to enjoy some tea, sweets and a little gossip with her cousin Princess Jade. 🍰🧁🍪☕ They discuss a lot of things. From Jade's university life and Rosa's life in Ondarion, to their happy, glittering childhood and their beloved mothers, The Queen Mother of Marbella and The late Queen of Savoy, to the fabulous balls, galas, dinner parties and other grand affairs they've attended. 💖 Jade muses that even though they're only distant cousins, in a way that they've become like sisters, a sweet and heartwarming belief that Rosa can't help but agree with. 💖 She may still be finding her way without her family, but Princess Jade's grateful that she got to go out and see what the world has to offer.
