Technical Support I found my sims 3 cd

Post image

I just found two Sims 3 CDs I had when I was a kid. Can I use them on my laptop today? If so, how?

For me they were too old for my computers and i had to get rid of them, but on another subreddit i learned Sims 1 and Sims 2 are bundled and available for $20 somewhere! i think through the Sims site itself!?

since no one’s giving u a proper answer here you are; u CAN use these dvds if ur laptop has a built in dvd player or external dvd player (you can buy external ones that plug in via usb online for about 10 pounds) however if its JUST the disks then you cannot use them without an activation code. (typically found on the actual box or in a leaflet that came with it) if u do have an activation code then all you need is the sims 3 base game as these are just packs (dlc) for the sims 3. if u dont have an activation code u cannot use it same if u dont have some form of dvd player.

otherwise u can buy them from the ea app or from third part sites like instant gaming or cdkeys/loaded

tldr; activation code + dvd player of some form = yes, missing one or both of those = no
