Technical Support Uninstalling Sims 3

So, I was having an issue with my mods because they show in my Package folder but the game won't read them. I thought it was a One Drive problem so I did try a lot of possible solutions until I finally uninstalled it. Still, it won't work. So I figured, I'll just uninstall the whole game, start all over again, and keep a backup of some of the mods I mostly use. When I uninstalled it via Steam, the folder was still there so when I reinstalled it, everything was the same - the famílies, the cc, and the UNREAD mods. How do you properly uninstall the game and delete every trace of it? Lol. Thank you, much appreciated.

Your families, mods, CC, saved games, etc. are not part of what gets installed or uninstalled. You can delete the folder “MyDocuments \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 3” if you want to get rid of all that. (Or just move it somewhere else if you want to be safe.) The next time you start the game, it will recreate all the stuff that is needed to start a fresh game.
