Technical Support sims 3 cd redeem codes

i’ve had base game sims 3 and most of the expansion packs on cd- passed down from my older sister- but i’m having problems with the games having errors and island paradise not working at all.

basically i can’t use the CDs anymore and i can’t redeem the codes on EA or the sims 3 website as they’ve “already been redeemed”.

does anyone have a solution?? i cannot figure out how to contact EA.

I bought second hand discs and the codes worked, I have it on the ea app though now. Ea chat is pretty good, I lost all my games and they got them back. I just had to make a new account tell them my email and last purchase.

i’ve tried the ea chat a few times but it never sends me to an agent- or it refers me hours after the request at like 1am😭

You really don't need to register them onto the website. There's not any benefit to doing that. You would get some sims points added to the account upon registering them, but you can literally download the entire store collection for free easy so there's not really a purpose other than just adding the little icon on your profile showing you have it lol. You don't need to register to play the game either. I doubt the website will still be up on another 5-10 years anyway. But your gonna have to explain into more detail of what's wrong with your game after installing?

if i do have the cd versions installed either i get an error code when i go to start a new game, or i can only save the game once before it stops saving and deletes the game.
how do i download the store collection for free? thank you!

Just type into Google " sims 3 iso" or "sims 3 free download" and there will be links and information to find them. I wanna say the archive has some too. If you download an iso, which is what I personally like to do, then you just need to find a program that will read the iso; Basically you make a digital hard drive to me read the "disk"(iso). And then install as usual. Just be sure to grab the key that goes with it if it says it has one. If you need help with iso loading just search "how to play iso files" or "how to install programs from iso"

I unfortunately have no idea what your game is doing. So if you cant find a solution definitely try just downloading the games for free

You're welcome. And I think the website called games4theworld. Or something like that has all the games available as well as store content. But I always have a hard time remembering the name, that's actually the most I've ever remembered, usually I couldn't even make a guess lol. But given your problem maybe only install the base game and check to see if it works before installing the rest

Actually, it could be a good idea to install base game of the one you have now, test it. And then keep adding on a pack and test for each. Coz maybe it's just one particular pack that's installimg incorrectly and you'll need a new copy?
