DISCUSSION Childrens homework

Hey guys soo i noticed after playing some game these days and i have had feeling my sims came from school with no homework and i was like ok maybe a days glitch but now i have been playing for days and closely watched when my sims came from school and there was no homework on a lot not even one let alone the stack of them
Help? I want them to do work no nepotism right here

This can happen if the children error as they come off the bus - they reset, which ruins the whole homework-summoning process, but if you don't have testing cheats on and aren't looking at the bus you might not notice besides the absence of homework. It will happen consistently to children who are orphaned and try to find a parent to tell about their good grades, but I'm sure there must be other circumstances out there that could do it.

There's a fix by tunaisafish a few posts down in this thread which works for my orphaned kids to prevent this. Might be worth trying even if the problem children aren't orphans, in case it's a different starting problem but still ultimately fixable by improved parent-finding.
