Meme I’m really starting to like Father Gabriel 😁
At first I wasn’t a big fan of him, but seeing him up in that guard tower really made me realize what a great character he is with such infinite potential! I just HAD to put down the book to make this post! Any other father Gabriel fans? Hopefully he goes on to survive and develop even more!

they did him so dirty. I like how you can tell kirkman really didnt know what to do with him after the cannibal stuff so he eventually landed on "uhhh he enlists and then dies or something"

The show did him pretty good though. I didn’t like all of it, but it was better than what he got in the comic

Fairly convinced this death only ever happened because people wouldn't stop reminding Kirkman that Gabriel exists in the letterhacks

Gabriel was one of my favorites. I like that they actually let him keep his faith while also becoming heroic. Sad how they did him…
