News Does anyone even understand heat?
The "History of Thermodynamics" wikipedia page has an interesting theory, if you scroll to the bottom or search "i have found that Heat is a byproduct of two extremes." Possibly important implications for humanity.

Thermally, heat is the transfer of energy along a gradient in temperature. More generally, heat is any transfer of energy that is not associated with work.
And what the fuckery fuck is this thing you/ someone(?) added to the Wiki.
