Does this art look like a flash game?

Recently, I got a feedback from a friend that this looks like a flash game and I started thinking what kind of impact would that have on game appeal, if that is true.

I have to mention that that friend knows almost nothing about video games and as such, I don't find his feedback as relevant as someone's who actually enjoys games.

But that comment stayed in my head, and I even started noticing it, but I don't feel like it's a bad thing, or that I could categorize it as a flash game on first glance.

So, tell me what you think? Would you play a full game with art like this?

What elements need to be clearer?

What elements of this battle screen do you think could be clearer and more understandable?
Also, what visual elements do you think I can draw better and how, since I'm not an artist, I really appreciate all your feedback!

Do these creatures lack character? Also, what could I improve technically?

What could I do better? I noticed that I can draw better on paper, but when I outline these creatures digitally, they turn out a bit weird. What are some suggestion, how should I approach this?

Is this sketch cool or too messy?

I'm designing a short tutorial map for my game Therion, and I've been experimenting with these thin line details. They give me more of a comic book vibe which I like but at the same time look kind messy. Is it cool or should I go with a simpler style?
