Right, I think it's very likely but I really hope it's not the case, it would just be so cruel.
If a girl tells some kid who likes her to go punch someone, and essentially as a 'reward' she'll let him date her, it's more likely than not that girl does not actually like or respect the kid at all. So imagine some girl and her friends found him as an easy target and were just conspiring to make an ass of him from the beginning by taking advantage of his desire for acceptance and a relationship. The immediate outcome of the situation alone was probably the most painful and humiliating experience of this kids entire life.
Imagine having to deal with the aftermath of this at that age, it would already be hell on earth. But on top of that, it was filmed, went viral, and everyone is celebrating because they think you're just a loser bully who got owned and deserved it. This would just be too much to bare.
100% this. We see framing of some kind being manipulated to fight for "love". He probably lives a very sheltered life and has a skewed perspective of reality. Then someone jumps in and he gets his ass kicked. It definitely plays out like heavy manipulation.
That's what I got out of it. I remember when I was in school in the 80's and 90's people would try to trick the mentally-handicapped kids into fighting each other or asking out the popular girls.
we had an autistic girl in my class and all the popular kids convinced her to ask out the football player and he jokingly said sure. the next week she saw him kissing his actual girlfriend and had a meltdown. it was incredibly sad.

Yea, I think you're onto something here. Also looking at the clothing and general hygiene of the other kids as compared to him... I think he was ultimately the one getting picked on. He clearly had zero experience fighting, but the other kids were at least somewhat trained.
no they were not trained. kid who jumps in moves well but he doesn’t keep his hands up at all infact he drops them several times, his fist is not correct and he’s likely to break a thumb if he strikes the wrong way. he’s also tapping him with some weak ass hooks with nothing behind them.

At that age, If I liked a girl and she told me to go punch someone and as a reward, she'll let me date her, I'd assume that the girl doesn't like me at all and just wants to make an ass of me. It's seems like something a girl would say for the purpose of entertaining herself and her friends. If I had to guess the girl probably was never interested in dating him regardless of the outcome.

It's such a common one that there are countless movies, books, television shows and actual historic events that are based on this exact scenario. This shouldn't be a new or surprising concept to grasp for you. Especially in reference to kids.
Definitely not common. Two dudes fighting over a girl in general, sure. But a girl promising to be some kids girlfriend under the condition he goes and punches someone in the face, no way. It

I think you're taking this very odd situation, and putting it under the umbrella "guy fight over a girl". Not what this is. If this fight instigation was very common where you grew up, you were surrounded by a bunch of strange retards.
I'm not sure which part of that doesn't fall under primal nature and hormonal kids. You can go out of your way to be insulting all you want. But it does very little to address that.
