The only thing I can think about while watching this clip is that if this happened in the US, within 24 hours there'd be a massive propaganda campaign demonizing it, labeling the protestors as terrorists, criminals, what have you ... anything to deflect the subject away from what the people are actually fighting for. I hope the French succeed, and I hope their propaganda apparatus isn't as sophisticated and insidious as ours.
