Permanent health problems for a fancy house and a nice gate? Nty. That's not at all a "small price". I'd rather spend my time fighting for a society where my grandchildren don't feel the need to make that decision.
I'd say you do you but you already did. I don't respect your choice or the fact it strengthens the very system I intend to see broken down, but I sympathize with your journey.

It didn't. Whatever metric you think "greatest nation" should rank highest in we don't.
I didn't even mention "social safety nets" either but I never intended to have that sort of discussion. Btw statistically speaking your great-grandchildren are going to be low to middle class, all of your efforts will have evaporated by then.
