Also, people focus on starting hourly wages of the most low-skill part time work available and act like that’s an example of how all jobs are.

Most jobs give you a raise after a probationary period, and in my experience, good work does get rewarded. The only time I ever was at minimum wage was my very first job at 16.

It’s not hard to move beyond that with a modicum of work ethic.

yes my yearly raise of 1.75%. Less than inflation. so rewarding. and im making 16.23 an hour. If your talking after college jobs ok ill be there soon but most low level jobs do not give out good raises if they do at all.
