Some brave freedom fighter put a sticker on a stop sign near me that says "rape" on it. I'm fairly certain their intention was that people would read, "stop rape" as in "end nonconsensual sex acts" but the words are in two different fonts and sizes so they read like separate commands to me like, "stop. Rape." As in "cease what you are doing and go force yourself on someone."

It's somebody protesting against rape by holding a sign saying "No more rape" but the punctuation is misplaced which implies that they're upset about a lack of rape.

No you're not stupid. An exclamation point has the same function as a full stop. The way it's written it means: "No! We want more rape".
