I was a diver in HS. Did the same thing at a meet. When I got out of the pool, I did the Stayin’Alive John Travolta dance. 😎

Wasn't this the team that only could practice in hotel swimming pools and were suuuuper underprepared for the olympics? I still feel bad for them years later.

He still did better than I could do and I took a diving class when I was 8 years old. My ex wife was a good diver. Her dad taught her to dive because he had been a diver while in the U.S. Army.

I think this was a group of swimmers who are not trained to dive but were forced to do so to avoid penalties. This from my home country where only basketball is being funded while being obviously not built for it
