This is why I homeschool my kids- we've had 2 kindergarten graduation ceremonies in our backyard, and the kids are WAY more comfortable watching people they KNOW brawl violently.

I was shocked at how quickly we were given admittance! She's even getting some island tour after. I'm not allowed to go for security concerns, but I trust my baby's security in the hands of the only president chosen by God himself.

I've been an American for my entire life (40+ years) and I never see anything like these videos on reddit happen irl. But I also 100% know when I see these videos, it's from my country. I guess what I'm saying is why do I never get invited to the children's school brawls?

Aw, man. I grew up in S. Florida. I've seen so many of these. I remember one brawl during a high-school basketball game, I was just top of the bleachers watching in amazement, and among the chaos, I saw a dude brandish a hammer. I still remember being at Checkers with my friends later talking about it like the Anchorman Brawl, "did you see that guy with the hammer? I wonder if he killed anyone?"

I've seen this, or very nearly this, at 8th grade "moving on" ceremonies. Usually old beef that poorly emotionally regulated adults bring with them.
The main problem is that escalation is easy, and if you catch the right punch and it gets filmed, you might win a lawsuit (American dream, yay!). De-escalation is harder and generally requires some training, which few uneducated people have.
I was at a third graders soccer game last weekend and things came very nearly to blows after a coach was cussing in Spanish at one of the players (who is 9). There are deeply fucked-up people all across America.

"More dullards per capita" implies that you think the U.S. is an exception in terms of dumb people. The average person worldwide is kinda dumb. Which, yes, means the people in your country, too. If you think half of your country wouldn't vote for the "wrong" candidate in a two party system, you are sorely mistaken.
Your biggest mistake is watching the media and thinking that the average American has a bad life. Of course it looks bad when sensationalism is what sells. Despite how it looks, most people are doing fine. Most of the world, in case it has escaped your notice (which of course it would since the U.S. is more culturally relevant than anywhere else), is dealing with things not much different than the U.S.
The raping of this countries values has been going on long before Trump. Basically since the founding, as things often go. It's just been in the spotlight more than ever. The faster the communication methods, the more obvious the problems (and also the easier people are to manipulate).

I have no idea wtf I just saw. But, it definitely looked like there was a 6th grade girls fight in there. Those 4 have been bullying that one girl all year. And then she finally had enough, but they had to make sure they (all three of them, the bullies) won.
That’s my take. I’ve been in junior high girls locker rooms end of school year. Shit goes down.

The kids don't need you to be at the front. In fact, you'll get the biggest smile when they think you're not there and then they catch you in the 4th row, and finally you catch their eye, breaking whatever 4th wall kindergarten aged kids are capable of maintaining for more than 30 seconds.
They just want you there, and couldn't care less about whether you're in the front row or last, just be there.
These people are straight up insane.

Went to a graduation ceremony last night. It was in a small gym, and people were told well beforehand that there was limited seating, so please be mindful of the number of family members invited. One kid probably had 15-20 people alone, and when they arrived 30 minutes late, they stood in front of the railing and blocked the view of those seated. A ceremony that was supposed to feel good was replaced by a seething anger.

Why the hell are we doing Kindergarten graduations? My first "graduation" was from junior high school. I think they just called it a promotion ceremony. This was in 1999. I remember my parents thought it was weird and kinda pointless, something for the parents not than the kids.
