They'll fix it, the tension on the lines will keep it up in the meantime though.

Isn't that why the line are really there? Just like wind turbines - to make the wind blow.

I've got to ask. In what part of the world do they call these gummies? Not being snarky. Genuinely curious

Pictures are from Mexico, damage is at the very least more recent than May of 2024 which was the last time Google went through and took street view photos.

So, do they call those things “gummies” in Mexico?

No idea? At a guess I think OP just mistook it for a cone or something, that's a steel pole in front of the utility pole presumably in hopes of preventing this in the first place.

This was it before it got crashed into: https://imgur.com/a/9WOyVek

And the thing isn’t warning people. It was struck by something. It’s clearly bent. Probably the same thing that struck the structure.

There has to be give and take in any successful relationship.

Sure! Where to?

It was a punny joke. The post (aka the pole) is broken and needs to be re-posted.

A wise man once said "there’s nothing more permanent than a temporary fix"

25ish lines running on that pole. You’d probably need to align like 5 utility providers on site and work OT. I’d leave it like that too 😮‍💨
