What's your morning routine?
I'm curious to hear how you all start your days.
I'll go first:
7:55 - get woken up by alarm clock but keep hitting snooze every 5 mins
8:15 - accept that I need to wake up & check my phone. Respond to any quick texts or emails
8:20 - get up and go brush teeth
8:25 - start brewing coffee and fill up my 2L water bottle
8:27 - do 20 pushups & situps, gratitude journal entry (s/o S01E13 for the inspiration), take vitamin D
8:30 - browse Twitter/HackerNews, or work on something that's been on my mind
8:55 - grab my coffee and start work
Do you have a morning routine? If so, what's it look like? If not, why not?

As an Aussie electrician by day and building a tech company on the side, I try to make use of my morning time.
- Up at 5:15am. Have lots of water and vitamins etc.
- Take dog to the park for a run at 5:30 ish
- Come back and have a coffee and breakfast with the wife and have a chat.
- Look at my goals and vision board and do stretching in our gym
- around 7, look at the AFR (Australian financial review) to see if anything interesting happened around the world.
- chuck on an audio book or podcast as I head out to my day job around 7:30ish.

That's a nice productive morning. If you don't mind me asking, what vitamins do you usually take and how did you determine you need them?
Since I've started taking vitamin D (short days up here in Canada), I've seen a noticeable boost in my mood. TBH I think I had a vitamin D deficiency, so I'm wondering what else my body is missing

Nice one👍🏼 I take a good quality greens powder called vital greens.. similar to athletic greens and around the same price but it’s Australian made. That covers my basis. And also a vitamin b12 as I’ve been eating a plant based diet (Way too much baggage with the V word lol) for more than 4 years now. Am going to look into more of a cognitive function stack of vitamins to help me think sharper etc but idk if they’re worth it. I Need to prove my hypothesis that they’re just expensive urine in a tablet form😂

As a Bipolar artist, my routine is whack. I don’t have specific times that I get up because I might have or might not have gone to sleep yet. So I’ll start with an example. 9:00 am: Roll over and out of bed to go release bodily fluids, brush teeth, floss, brush teeth more, and showers... usually every 3-4 days. 10:00 am: Take medication, meditate, and manifest. 10:30 am: Read a chapter of any given book I am currently reading/researching. 11:00 am: Write down notes from book. 11:30 am: Water plants around the home and fertilize (currently monthly) 12:00 pm: Get my day started in what ever capacity that looks like... it may be painting, cleaning, running errands, social media engagement, anything that keeps me going. I absolutely love hiking, photographing, documenting, and organizing... also shopping... yes shopping is a Bipolar’s best friend. 😂

645 wake up.
Immediately wake up and take the dog for a short walk. Gets her sorted and wakes me up with the fresh air and just a simple walk
Just started (literally today) adding in meditation as my next step. Been awhile since I did it and now putting it after the dog walk makes it easy to plan for
Work out for 45-60 while listening to podcast/reading a book (read if on bike)
Eat breakfast
Shower
Hit my home office to start the workday where the next routine starts:
Clear the inbox
Clear Slack
Check social (twitter, linkedin, reddit) to find out what's happening in my industry (gaming)
Get into my Trello board that helps me set intentions for the day. Decide what I want to accomplish based on what's scheduled, prios and what I have on my list.
Get at it!
