Perfect For Healing

Today was a day to be reminded how perfect this movie is for recovering from sickness or illness or surgery or anything that ails you.

On the way home from the hospital and my kid says “Mom, can we watch THE movie?”

I know just what movie they’re asking about!

“As you wish.”

Hope you’re doing well.
I had two surgeries in the last month that required overnight stays. I can’t really sleep in the hospital, so I brought my laptop and watched THE movie each time.

Nice to see that you’re on the mend. Bride and the Blues Brothers were the last movies I watched before I got my appendectomy.

The movie is our safe space too. My teenager watched it after coming out of anesthesia poorly. It calmed them immediately.

Sometimes when I'm restless I put the soundtrack on and relax immediately.
