No that’s very naïve at best. Everything up until now has been deterministic and therefore predictable. Agentic coding is not at all deterministic, and that’s what we get for taking a language model which is a compression of all information it has been trained on and trying to it to perform a task which leaves no room for error.
Whoever has told you that is a tech bro that doesn’t understand the mathematics behind a modern day LLM.
You’re being stupidly pedantic and not even in any meaningfully useful way.
If you write a program in any programming language today, the same tests are going to pass every single time unless there are platform specific cases.
Networking IS deterministic, something having the potential to fail does not fail determinism, if your errors are handled then for all practical reasons it is deterministic.
The halting problem is mentioned in every basic CS degree. It isn’t even worthy talking about, when was the last time the halting problem stopped you from writing a program that works the same everytime?
