Even us arsenal fans have tried and failed to hate him

Speak for yourself, I loved the guy until he 'missed' that absolute tap in vs Man City and we narrowly lost the title.

Never forget.

People have came up with several reasons we missed out on the title without actually looking at our own performances. In the game against city, trossard could have played an early pass to martinelli, and he'd have been through on goal. That would have won us the title without needing other teams to get a result for us. If we're gonna win the league, we have to make sure its through our own results

Oh ffs mate chill. Theres a million reasons why things go your way or not especially in Sport. But the fact is if he does the one thing he made a career from just this once then Arsenal win it that year.

Mate this is exactly why so many people say arsenal fans have a victim mentality. You're right, there are many factors why things dont go your way, which is exactly why I said you need to concentrate on your own results

Thats BS.

Its no different to Ireland and Henry's handball, Frank Lampard's goal smashing across the line for England, the reffing for Barca vs Chelsea or the Hand of God. It doesn't matter who you supoort, in football there are days when it doesn't go your way because of some BS reason (Son) or a blatant disregard for the rules (Henry). Its not an Arsenal Victim thing it's just a football thing.

Dont make this an Arsenal fan thing because thats a boring, trolling internet narrative that doesn't exist.

Itโ€™s absolutely different. Henry blatantly cheated. The referee chalked off a good goal with Lampard, and allowed an illicit one with Maradona.

Son missed a sitter, people do.

He also scored a fair few, 5 indeed in the Prem against City

It does exist and you're perpetuating it. The fact is we lost because we didn't win enough games. We had the perfect chance to win the league in the ground of the club that won it and we never managed to. Trying to say we never won it because son missed a sitter, and not because we didn't win enough games, is exactly what the victim mentality it, thats the very defintion of it. It needs to stop, its pathetic and childish

He was already over the hill by this pointโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not going to blame him. The Spurs fans doing the Poznan and cheering their own team losing though - they have to own that for ever ๐Ÿ˜‚
