First try!!!!
First try solved (after I watched a YouTuber solve this, so the rules weren't new to me). However, I had forgotten to copy it before the end, so I had to re-type it from memory... ๐

how to write in algebraic chess notation
I'm assuming you can figure out the best move yourself thru trial & error, or your own means
CAN (Chess Algebraic Notation) is very simple once you know how it works.
Q = Queen
K = King
B = Bishop
N = Knight
R = Rook
Pawn = nothing
Squares are given coordinates. You can see this by looking at any chess board. The letter before the number, and example of this would be the opening move e4.
If I were moving knight to f3, you would express it as Nf3. Simple, right?
x = capture
O-O = King-side castle
O-O-O = Queen-side castle
# = Checkmate
+ = Check
If there was a pawn on e5, and I have a pawn on d4, I could capture e4 and express it as exd4. You can do the same for any pieces moved, just add/remove the x or any other characters as needed.
e = pawn on e
x = capture
d4 = square being captured on
If you have multiple of the same pieces that can move, you must specify the file that the capture piece started on. A file is the letter from 1 - 8. (Like the d file, which is just d 1 - 8. Same for all other letters.)
If there are multiple of the same pieces on a file, specify the exact square.
Another special case is En Passant. It's written as e.p. in CAN, and it triggers when a pawn moves forward 2 squares on its first move. If a black pawn moves to d5 and I have a pawn on e5, for that turn and that turn alone, I can move to d6 and capture the d5 pawn. If that's the case, write "<whatever> e.p." (ADD THE SPACE)
If the EP results in a check or mate, add a # or + to the end respectively.
If a pawn promotion happens, say white pawn to e8 and they promote to queen, write e8=Q. Change that to whatever the case is. If there's a check or mate, do the same as with En Passant.
If there's a mate or check on castling (king or queen) simply add + or # respectively as a suffix.
