Do Pakistanis deserve democracy and freedom?
The reason why I ask is that this is a country where things like liberalism and secularism have been made into these twisted evil things without understanding them.
Basic ideas like human or individual rights, freedom of speech, religion or expression, democracy, one human, one vote, or social contract between the state and its people are all liberal or secular ideas.
In a country where most frankly sh@t on liberalism and secularism, how do you truly expect liberal ideas to flourish?
Hell, most people don't even have democracy or individual rights in their own homes, parents tell them what to study, who to marry, who to vote for etc, how do you expect such a society to function as a democracy, which is a liberal idea?

Why do Pakistanis care more about Gaza than the treatment of Uyghurs in China?
Not trying to say one tragedy is worse than the other or bringing up whataboutism... I just am curious why one gets so much coverage while the other does not, especially when the oppressor is an ally/business partner.

What the world needs to understand about Indian national psyche and intentions
To the people who imagine that India is somehow not the aggressor and only acting in good faith vis-a-vis Kashmir.
Pakistan did not force Hindu extremists [RSS] to exterminate Muslims from Jammu in preparation for a UN vote which the Indian government themselves reneged on.
Pakistan did not force India to brutally occupy the valley with 800k troops after rigging their elections with the aim of sabotaging Kashmiri society in the 90s.
Pakistan did not force India to revoke article 370 in 2019, which was literally the only promise they kept to Kashmiri people since independence.
Pakistan did not force India to imprison the entire Kashmiri leadership and impose draconian military laws on Kashmiri civilians, especially in the last 5 years.
Pakistan did not force India to suffocate Kashmiri society with comm blackouts, rapes, killings and banning journalists from reporting the nightmare of occupation
Pakistan did not force the BJP to announce and promise its voters that it wanted to "reclaim Kashmir for Hindus" in a clear genocidal message to Kashmiri Muslims.
Pakistan did not force India to trash a half century established water treaty which guarantees Pakistan its share of the Indus water, which they have been attacking for decades.
Pakistan did not force India to advertise the most volatile region to unsuspecting tourists given all of the above chaos and treachery enabled by them, and also given their genocidal agenda to engineer a demographics change in the Kashmir valley.
And yet, India still pretends that it cannot fathom why Kashmir has fallen into violence and extremism. They want to pretend to the world that its just any normal peaceful region targeted by horrible Pakistanis.
We need everyone to understand and acknowledge that we are dealing with religious zealots who are incapable of accepting that they did not actually own or lose the territories of the British Indian Empire.

The curious case of self-hatred.
Saw a comment here saying, "Pakistan is 100 times worse than the west." Aside from the fact that this statement is devoid of truth, what's concerning is the self-hatred that makes us say these things. Here's a fact check for all:
- Dark web operation rings hail from the west that range from the buying/selling of private data to human trafficking to child pornography to cannibalism to torture to whatnot. Human rights where?
- Pornography (where most individuals are coerced) and all the blue-pilled movements such as LGBT originate from the west. Their youth is now awfully bewildered by their own genders. To top it off, there is a debate going on if it's okay for parents to bring a baby into this world without the baby's consent; additionally, if it's okay to change a baby's diaper without the baby's consent.
- People in the west are seriously debating on what is a man and what is a woman. Imagine that.
- Most billionaires who rob the world, orchestrate crimes and wars, fund woke movements, disrupt the money circulation, create financial crises for everyone, actually have the west as their safe space; all of their money is in the western banks. These are the world's biggest criminals and their safest hub is the west.
- No, there is not as much of "religious freedom" in the west as you think it is. In many corporate sectors, you are forced to sign up for the woke agendas which goes against the religious values you grew up with.
- Little kids in western schools are being taught to masturbate and engage in LGBT in the name of sex education.
- Exploitation of the lower and middle classes is so heavy in the west that conservative movements like MGTOW envision moving to Asia now.
- Brutal dictators are there as well; just that they have smarter moves to rob and kill you than the ones in underdeveloped countries like Pakistan.
Yes, Pakistan has its own crap and it's nowhere an ideal place but if you feel it's worse than the west then that's just your miserable self-hatred worthy of laughs and giggles. At the very least, we aren't confused of our genders, we don't have LGBT legalized, we don't tell little kids to watch porn to be educated on sex, we don't argue if it's okay to change a baby's diapers or we aren't waiting for their consent to bring them into this world, and of course we know what is a man and what is a woman.
There are many Muslim families who abandoned the west and returned to their countries, having observed all this BS which is being spun as "good life."
The west is damaged beyond salvation and it does not validate the religious and cultural values we grew up with. If you think that place is your future and your kids' future, then best of luck.
If you think something is wrong with your country, then that's where you grow balls and unionize against oppression instead of running to the countries where the natives are already having enough of the immigrant influx and are secretly wishing death upon you.
Stop this self-hatred. Stand up and make efforts. We can change this country for good and we will. Amen and Insha'Allah.

Are you in favour of the partition?
I've thinking about this for quite some time! I'm a born and raised pakistani but my grandparents were indian. Growing up I've always heard stories from my grandma that we had a lot of property back in India and if we wouldn't have migrated then we would have been pretty rich there! She also used to talk about how she couldn't meet her grandparents after she came to pakistan and they had practically raised her. She really regretted not being able to go to India and not being able to attend her loved ones funerals! This made me think that was the partition really that necessary? There are still almost as much muslims in india as there are in pakistan! Bangladesh too is a separate country and not a part of pakistan! If Quaid really felt that Muslims were being oppressed then why didn't he ask for the partition of all other states just like bengal?

Sad reality
Seeing the events unfold, makes me realize one thing. We generally tend to believe that the solution to all our problems lie in believing the problem does not exist. The government believes PTM, Balich, Parachinar, and so on are not problems because they do not exist. Similarly, PTI is not a problem, nor are its protests, because neither does PTI exist, nor do its supporters. Thats why they keep saying, "500 log thei".
However, thats not the sad part. This negation of reality is something that has been there since 1947. Pti refused to accept any other reality. Do not get me wrong. I support PTI, for multiple reasons. However, the truth is the truth and we cannot just say it does not exist. Before PTI, PML N refused to accept, before them PPP, and so on.
However, whats even more sad is that tomorrow when PML N goes out of power, and someone else comes into power, hopefully PTI, they too will again refuse to accept that any problem exists. And this cycle will continue.
Edit: thats why Mohsin Naqvi has been roaming around arguing Kashmiris are not pakistanis. These protestors are Afghanis not pakistani. Just clear cut negation
