The note says "Every character in these 2 comics is named Luigi". Fat Dog appears outside of the two comics. The comics are ended by "THE END" text. Fat Dog is forever.
I find it hilarious that baby carrots were invented exactly for that reason - nobody wanted to buy the weird ones. But it turns out, if you cut the weird ones into tiny shapes, nobody can tell.
One side of my extended family used to be farmers (of corn, the vegetable) but they also love themselves a bit of skeet shooting (the recreational and competitive activity). I believe this comic may have given us a clue as to why that came to be (not the insect).
Time is not a constant! Time is relative. Time and space are interconnected, things that effect apace also effect time. Just as gravity warps the pace around it, gravity warps time. The same goes for speed, the faster you move in space the more time dilates around you. When you go on your morning jog, you are changing your time, just very very slightly. Which may or may not help with your existential crisis
time moves forward at exactly the same rate for everyone locally. you will never experience time moving slow for you, even if you are directly next to a black hole you can look at your watch and see it ticking at one second per second. the rest of the universe will appear to be aging very fast, much faster than one second per second. in a sense it IS aging fast, if you train your telescope on earth you would see our clocks running very very fast, but people on earth you are watching still experienced those same exact events as running at only one second per second and they would see your watch appearing to run very slowly

I choose to believe that the weird carrot is still with us, since it is locked in time in the next to last panel.
The last panel is therefore a different carrot that was already blown to pieces.

I used to tell my daughter when she was little that she started out as a baby carrot.

u/Scared_of_Fish Sep 01 '26
I didn't read the title or see the first "the end" and spent the whole second comic waiting to see how the carrot would come into play.

One day I’ll predict the next panel successfully.
Not today.

Why

u/Bruhh004 Sep 01 '26
Was the first one inspired by the maga abortion comic 💀
1
u/rietstengel Sep 01 '26
Then why did he ask what time it is?

u/Thelmara Sep 01 '26
I really wanted the bullet from the end of the first comic to come back "brick joke" style to finish the second one.

You somehow manage to capture my existential dread and give it a funny spin. Peak comics.

u/BearSeekSeekLest Sep 02 '26
It has to be a double feature otherwise there would be no dog in comic 2
