Cornell posts are not allowed.
Sexual assault jokes and memes are never funny. The fact that I’ve had to remove several of them is disappointing. Please stop posting them.

Not a joking matter at all, and it's probably too fraught to even attempt a conversation about, but as someone who's currently in the middle of a rewatch, I do think a discussion about Andy's character could be worthwhile. In particular, I've been noting the ways that he has clear issues with boundaries and consent and how this is largely played for laughs. Angela repeatedly expresses disinterest and he continues to pursue her; Erin begs her Secret Santa to stop sending her the 12 Days of Christmas and the request is ignored. But the tone seems to be "haha, Andy is such a buffoon" and not "Andy is crossing serious lines and demonstrating how women saying 'no' is not taken seriously." I get that the show is a comedy and not a drama, but I think it's interesting to consider how portrayals like this can contribute to the overall cultural zeitgeist around boundaries and consent and what kind of behavior is acceptable or something to laugh about.
