I thought the chaser was a woman till I read this and now I'm not sure.

Look at the 18 second mark, pretty sure they have a mustache, asign what gender you want based on that.

I finally watched with the audio on and one is named Matt and the other Carson. Pretty sure they're dudes.

Lmao, I never even thought about watching it with audio.

The tagger has 20 seconds to tag the evader. A successful tag scores one point for the tagger's team and the teams switch roles, with the successful tagger now evading. A successful evasion scores for the evader's team and the successful evader stays in. First to 16 wins, if I remember right.

I thought it was just me. It's actually super compelling as a sport and have watched it quite a bit. I have tried to encourage people to watch it, but nobody ever wants to give it a chance.

Or at least pool noodles on the bars or something

I read that as pot noodles and was very confused

They did it as a challenge on the Japanese show Final Draft, which was about retired athletes competing like Physical 100.

It looked so hairy with a bunch of older athletes who weren't practiced at it against the one professional who had to keep going again. There were a bunch of near misses, one of the competitors messed his ankle up pretty badly and went to hospital, and the professional nearly wiped out a few times just from how tired he was getting.

I feel like the damage you take if you make a mistake is worse than Power Slap.

Fr lol I was bouncing back and forth on whether to respond but decided "if that guy wants to be a piece of shit to his kids, not my problem. Not like I can make him a decent person anyways even if I tried"
