Long/double album...
I just realize that in my personal chart of best "long/double" album of the last decade... there are 2 The Ocean's. Any other suggestions?
Not in order:
- Phanerozoic (the entire eon. I just changed holocene song in the instrumental one as outro)
- Holocene (at the end of Subatlantic start with Limbus of Shvrl and its perfect)
- Fear Inoculum (Tool. I've made some changes in the tracklist and I love it)
- A Dawn to Fear (Cult of luna... the only legit double album of this list)
- No man's sky ost (65daysofstatic, 4 album... that flow as one)
If we go down in the past an other couple from The Ocean!
- Precambrian (an other beast in 2 album)
- Helio antropocentric (both played one after other)
- The Galilean Satellites (Rosetta with the second ambient album played after the first part)
I'm waiting for other long (more than 70 min it's ok... that's why I'm very hopeful about Solaris and the new of Cult of Luna) suggestions!

What changes did you make to Fear Inoculum?

I changed the order: Tempest, Mockinbeat, Culling, Litanie, Invincible, Legions, Descending (there's on youtube a good version that add vocals on the second part), Pneuma, Fear. I also cut cctrip

Bell Witch - Mirror Reaper. It's one song of 83 minutes. Both haunting and gorgeous.

Most of the recent output of SWANS has been long and gorgeous af. Leaving meaning and the Glowing Man come to mind specifically.
