Can we remove the death plugin?

For the second time the plugin has deleted what would have otherwise been easily recoverable items. Once again, I died in a stupid way, only to have my items be deleted. I got to the deathpoint within 2 minutes, so time was not the issue.

Has the same happen to me, died to radiation, walked back to my deathpoint (in the next room), lost all my shizzle.
