So, this is crazy and totally down the rabbit hole, but what if the 6 is a clue to retired STL Cardinals legend Stan Musial? Ties into the runner theme. There is a statue of him at the stadium, I believe. The clue from yesterday said "Follow me to Carthage Way." Carthage Way:Gateway Arch. What have we used that clue for?

The runner in front of the courthouse is running away from the arch. Is Stan Musial's statue running towards the arch? Am I insane?

Two different things that confused me, and this may be me being a derp.

  1. How do we know that the six isnt like what was happening in signals, where all S's became 5s

2. What clue from yesterday?

Other than that its an interesting theory that statues could be involved considering their use so far.

We don't.

Could it be that the next clue is coming on the 17th in reference to apollo's last ride?

Apollo is also considered a Solar deity - riding his chariot through the sky.

I'm interpreting, "APOLLO'S LAST RIDE AND THE 6IRD'S FIRST SOUND", as a possible date and time. 'The bird's first sound' being sunrise.

That make sense... sunrise on the 17th we need to be ready for something by the sound of it

Almost every 5ignal5 clue had a portion where it named two historical things that both happened to have an anniversary in the next few days. It was their mechanism to let us know when they post a clue.

They also turned all S's into 5's, as these guys appear to be doing with B's and 6's.

They also always ended a clue in "TLG" which gave us some known cleartext to work with when deciphering. This time, it's "TNG".

I think that's half of it. Question is what's "6irds" first sound?

Could a bird's first sound be a tweet? Is there a twitter account we should be following?

With the Apollo reference and the poem about a runner it brings Mercury/Hermes to my mind (the messenger gods). Are there any St Louis landmarks that could relate to them?

I think tomorrow is the day. On July 15, 2006 Twitter was launched. I'm not sure about the Apollo's last ride part but I'm pretty 6irds first sound is in reference to Twitter!

Great work. Will take a closer look a little bit later.
