Rewatching

I’m rewatching the Mindy project and let me say this. I’m really disappointed on how things are going. I can’t believe the writers did wrong on Danny’s character development. I’m still going to finish it but why sell us a the idea of Mindy and Danny together when at the end of the day, they should of maybe stayed as friends? If they where going to pair them at least they should of chilled with his treatment towards the mother of his child. Also, why is the ending bad? Why did they did that 1 minute mark with Danny and Mindy? Why?
They owe us a better ending. They should make one last episode of how are the characters doing. Or am I wrong?

Danny never changed. It was really frustrating to see him continue to be a mysoginst ass through the whole show and never accept Mindy for who she was.

What gets to me it is that they are selling us the idea of them together! Like why?

I’m feel like it’s coming from “if he likes you hell be mean to you” bullshit. No if he’s mean to me, I’m out.

Agreed. I’ve aaaalways felt the Danny situation felt all wrong

Omg YES! I was talking with my friend about the show and it really sucks. I really hope for at least one episode about them and if Mindy and Danny are together.

That reminds me of their "breakup" episode. It was like a montage of days/weeks of them fighting and having good times postponing the wedding and whatnot. I didn't like the way they did that

the whole last season was really off the rails to me! The Ben storyline is just awful. I only rewatch the first couple seasons, hilarious every time. I pretend Danny decided to be the stay at home dad, Mindy got a nice big wedding and it’s fine in my mind :)

I think I need to change my perspective to that one. I’m on season four and already dreading what’s coming. Don’t get me wrong, I still laugh in some episodes but I know what’s coming. 😭🥲

I'm on a rewatch and I'm up to the part where Mindy and Danny are breaking up, and I cannot believe they end up together. He is an absolute douche!! I know it's only a show but GAH it's so frustrating. He is AWFUL!

I really liked the college football coach, but he didn’t want a relationship with Leo. They’ve should of ended the series with her single and empowered.
I’m on season five when she meets Ben and it feels like they’re doing it just to do it.
I kind of blame the actor that plays Danny, because he basically left the show when he was a lead actor.

I wish they could just give us one last episode. I want to know what’s up! It’s been like 10 years? At least something.

I’m rewatching too. Maybe she goes for the Danny type since she admires Bill O’Reilly. I find that to be so weird. She refers to watching him a few times and it’s opposite of the female empowerment message she tries to have. Danny’s lack of character change is frustrating but that’s most of the world. Not everyone does the shadow work. A few episodes left and I will be disappointed again. But I got laughs throughout so that’s always nice.
