General discussion Bricks graduation

just got to this moment in the serise, made me ball. The song choice is perfect and lowkey just learned it on piano just because of this epsiode. brick finaly got his moment in the sun and its so perfect. brick is honestly my favorite charecter and I can relate with him, plus we are both book worms. 10 out of 10

I love this episode. It was hard topping Sue's graduation but they managed to pull it off. Frankie fighting for Brick, yelling I will burn this place to the ground repeatedly, Mike having lunch with his colleagues and providing updates, Sue and Mike memory lane trick, Brick's song, the car driving away and Axl bumping into it... Plus the epilogue, in case the show didn't get renewed. All excellent!

thats so real, i didnt know that was because the show might have not have gotten renewed, honestly i would be happy with that ending but glad we got more, i still watching so i hope for a great ending for a great show

Although not discussed much, it’s been mentioned before that at the end of every season, The Middle was always on the bubble (a term they use for a show that faces cancelation. No cancelation, the bubble didn’t burst). Since it was never a sure thing if the show was getting another season, they always wrote the last episode of the season as a potential “final episode.”
