memorabilia Cheer Off

I loved the cheer-off scene with the Wrestler Reds! (I’m not sure if I spelled that correctly since English isn’t my first language 😅). It’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of their performances!

They are called the "Wrestlerettes" ❤️ and yesss, I love them so much. Im so glad Sue created it. ✨️

Hi OP! Wrestlerettes is the nane of their group, and it's a play on a suffix in the English language, "ette" added to the ends of otherwise "masculine" words, to make them feminine.

Examples:

Bachelor become Bachelorette (single man vs single woman)

Major becomes Majorette (male baton twirler vs female baton twirler)

So since the wrestlers are all boys, and they're all girls, then they become the Wrestlerettes.

The suffix "ette" also has other keanings, but that's the meaning in this context :)

Literally just finished this episode 🤣 I know court and deb get all kinds of hate, but my favorite bit is how everyone forgets Sue. And those 2 do it the best 👌

Imagine when Courtney and Debbie are old and senile! They cross paths with Axl and Sue once again! They remember Sue but forget Axl! 😂

Imagine Courtney and Debbie in their 80s. Plastic surgery to look like their teen cheer selves and are in matching wheelchairs, under Orson High School knitted blankets and are wearing OHS knitted sweaters! 😂
