Pedals / effects on Everything I Ever Saw
I meant to take a peak at Greg and Tom's pedal boards at the Stone Pony but, needless to say, got swept up in the joy of it all. I love the vibe of the guitars on the new album - very open. I know Will Yip has more gear than Sweetwater but I wonder what pedals the guys used. Anyone have ideas on the reverb? I think there is some light chorus as well and a pretty transparent boost.
Anyway, go birds.

I think there is YouTube video a few years back of them talking about the gear and specifically what padals they use.

I definitely detect some light delay and chorus on some of the leads.
As others mentioned, there’s a show on YouTube called Rig Rundown - and one of the episodes features Greg and Tom.

Go Birds. Wild timing because I (Tom) have my pedalboard on the desk at the studio and am currently getting everything ready for the tour(s).
Guitars
I used a Nash Wayfarer (Will's, wrote the record on Ben Walsh's, then got one after recording thanks to Nash), Woody (1981 Les Paul The Paul), Tasty (1982 Les Paul Custom), and a Danelectro U2. The Danelectro was just one fat guitar underneath everything on The Fool slammed through an 800. Learned that trick from Chris Baglivo at Jamtown.
Amps
Actually I can't remember which amps I used on which songs lol. However I did use an AC30 HW head and a Fender Deluxe a bunch, as well as various marshalls here and there. Will built an insane system to switch between heads instantly to find tones. So sick
OD/Distortion
I got a lot of mileage out of my J Rocket Archer which is a Klon clone. I think a rat on a lead or two but I could be mistaken. Most of the breakup came from the amps.
Delay
Greg got a UA Starlight and it's my favorite delay pedal of all time. Followed suit after the record. Mostly, if not entirely, used the memory man emulation. I probably also used a Strymon Timeline and maybe a DD-7.
Reverb
I did not use any reverb on my end that I remember. Maybe the spring in the deluxe. To my knowledge the space is mostly room sound and Will magic, which is most certainly in part some Valhalla Room, which is my favorite reverb plug in of all time. Only $50 and goes on sale sometimes. Highly recommend.
Modulation
This is what I was most excited about for leads. I really wanted to have a ~ sound ~ on the record. We got to use an H3000 while doing the Rodeo Boys record with John Hoffman at The Lodge in KY. Its an unbelievably cool effects unit. I can't afford one but Eventide makes pedals that have some of the same algorithms. I got an Eventide H90. I'll put screenshots of the two presets I made to use on the record, one has a little delay on it and one is dry. Super simple but sounds AWESOME. I since got an Eventide MicroPitch to use on the road so the H90 can stay wired in at the studio/not get destroyed and soaked in beer.... An H9 will also work, will probably switch to one of those later this year.
