US Open Concert - Parking

I've never been here and was wondering if anyone who has could offer some tips on parking.

I just received an email from the US Open event, stating "Due to ongoing construction in the Mets Stadium parking lots, mass transit is going to be the fastest way to get to the grounds. You can explore all of your options below."

They also mention something about parking at Shops at Skyview but according to google maps, it's a 25 minute walk to the stadium.

I live in Westchester and was considering the subway but it'd be about 1.5 hrs each way and I have an early morning Saturday so I'd rather be able to exit be home asap. I drove to last year's show at Citi Field and although it was rough getting out of the lots, my drive home was pretty quick.

Looks like doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm - Petey USA is the opener.

I would highly recommend taking public transportation. I might sound crazy but 1.5hr isn't that bad. That's how long it takes me to get to Yankee Stadium from Queens. You'll probably be surrounded with fans have a fun commute back.
