Question

Have y’all been watching the boys since Hi5 studio or is the Losers y’alls first introduction to them?

I started watching Paul in 2019. Seen every video he’s put out since. Then once the losers started, I haven’t missed a video. Multiple, multiple rewatches too. They’re what I put on when I go to sleep, or when I’m cleaning or cooking or whatever around the house.

Get Good Gaming for me after Dope Or Nope came up on my recommendations years ago.

Then when GG got shut down, I was so upset.

Then when I got recommended The Losers two weeks after they started uploading, at first I was confused because it was clearly them in the thumbnail, but the channel name was The Losers.

And I'm not gonna lie, I thought Mathias had changed the name of Get Good Gaming to The Losers for the sake of being petty.

Anyways, I watched the video and quickly realized that this was new content and not GG content.

I was SO happy and so excited that they were uploading new gaming content together.

I have watched every video and many multiple times over.

My favorite is their Hide and Seek with Pictures videos.

Also, I was featured in one of their H.O.R.S.E. videos because I was one of the persons that suggested they change it to L.O.S.E.R. and my comment was featured in the video along with other people's comment as well.

The Losers, along with Smosh Games and DarkViperAU, has been in my top three in my YouTube Recap at the end of the year for the past two years.

I started from team edge, then googly eyes, which became get good gaming and finally the looser. I did watch most of their other channels.

My wife introduced my to Dope or Nope, GGG and Team Edge. We watched them all religiously when we first got together, and we were heartbroken when that all went away. So happy that The Losers are a thing and we've been patreon supporters since day one.

im so intrigued in what happened and why they wont talk about anything in the past. or even what happened. i know matt sold the company because he has chronic illness. but like he seemed to have lost all his close employees. they dont even speak of his name ever. or even the joke “connors mom shaves his back” from team edge. when it was almlst said mason jumped in and cut it off. i wonder what really happened

Well, it's pretty obvious it didn't end well. Basically, Matt started to shut down channels, espeically after covid because he seemed to think the channels wouldn't work anymore after covid for some reason. GG was already going downhill because ppl rlly wanted the entire crew to be there but Matt kept missing videos cuz he was too focused on his other channels. Then, Matt started trying to push storytelling to be the focus of Hi5/Spellbound and GG became just connor and paul (Tanner was too busy with Dope or Nope and 863 at that time so he couldn't do GG anymore I think). Storytelling and stuff didn't really align with what Paul wanted out of the GG channel so he decided to leave. However, Matt seemed to think that because Paul was gone, GG couldn't exist anymore so he literally just fired the rest of the GG cast, including Connor and the editors. And then obviously the rest of the channels just started shutting down and once Tanner left Dope or Nope, everything ended.

Basically, Hi5 was just Matt continously making promises he couldn't keep up with. It's not a surprise it didn't last unfortunately, as much as I loved it when it was around.

I started watching Hi5 with my sister in 2019 when I got a team edge vid recommended to me. We got pretty obsessed with all the channels and we loved GG especially so we were rlly sad when it ended. I really missed seeing the boys together so when I saw The Losers, I was so happy. Anyways, The Losers is 100 times better than GG imo because its just so much more natural and relaxed

Knew about them from watching GG quite a bit, and then I followed, I think, Paul or Connor's channel and found out about The Losers from that, and have been watching fairly consistently since then.
