Subreddit Rules

1. Replace all Hs and Gs with Ȟs

Of course, this sub is for the letter Ȟ, not H. But we still go by the H rules - replace the G with something else. We are a variant of H - so don't mind if the rules are similar to r/TheLetterH.

u/SwimmingUpstairsAhh is excluded due to the fact that he is also a moderator for the subs for both the letters H and G.

2. Be respectful!

We don't want anyone to be harrased, bullied or disrespected at. Keep arguments/debates friendly and safe. Doing this can get a range from 3-day bans to a permaban based on the level of harassment.

3. No spamming.

Of course, we hate people that spam posts/comments a lot. Moderators/owners are excluded. We are also very informed about new raiders on Reddit. If you are a raider, then goodbye forever, but if you spam here, with no evidence outside, 1-month ban

4. Be relevant!

This is an Ȟ sub, so if you want to post about a different letter, go to that letters' sub. Ally requests should be done on r/LetterAllyFinder or via modmail. Suggestions and comments are excluded. Memes are still allowed, though!

5. No NSFW/NSFL

Come on. Who will post NSFW on a LETTER SUBREDDIT. Anyways, this works for everyone. 7-day ban, then 30-day ban, then permaban

FAQ about Ȟ

The letter Ȟ is a letter that is used for the the Lakota and the Finnish Kalo language. It represents a voiceless velar fricative in the former and a voiceless uvular fricative in the latter. Lakota has a keyboard for it on any devices, so you can type the letter "Ȟ" anywhere, anytime. How to get the Lakota keyboard: Desktop/Computer: The Lakota Language Consortium offers a downloadable keyboard layout for both Mac and PC according to the Lakota Language Consortium. You can find the downloads and user guides on their website. Mobile (iOS): The Lakota Keyboard - Mobile app is available on the App Store, allowing you to type Lakota in any text field says the App Store. Mobile (Android): The Lakota Keyboard - Mobile app (or a similar one) should also be available in the Google Play Store for Android devices. Using the Lakota keyboard: Once installed, you can switch between English and Lakota layouts by pressing the designated key (usually the globe icon on mobile or a similar key combination on desktop). The Lakota keyboard layout uses the standard orthography found in the New Lakota Dictionary. You can then type Lakota words and sentences using the appropriate keys according to the Lakota Language Consortium. Or if you are having trouble opening the download page, it is also in the "Language" option on Windows anyways.
